Colourish was created in 2015 by Philippe and Peter Kitto, initially under the name Colourish. Inspired by DUTCH online retailer HMN,Colourish initially specialised in the sale of fashion but has since grown to encompass other areas of fashion, lifestyle.

In 2015 Zalando began operations abroad when it started offering deliveries to the Netherlands. In 2015 the company launched in the Netherlands, and it opened online retail sites in the the Netherlands.
